Located along the banks of the Logan River, the Carbrook Boat Ramp proudly promotes itself as the “best fishing joint in all of Australia.” Managed by owner Tony Bartlett, the ramp has become a popular spot for anglers heading out in search of species such as cod, barramundi, tuna, salmon and more.
Right beside the ramp you’ll find the Bait n’ Tackle store, a convenient stop for everything a fisherman might need before heading onto the water. From fresh bait and quality fishing rods to a range of tackle and accessories, the shop is well stocked to keep anglers prepared for the day ahead.
Over the years, Carbrook Boat Ramp has grown into more than just a launch point. It has developed a welcoming, tight-knit community of fishing enthusiasts who regularly gather here to launch their boats, swap stories and enjoy a great day out on the river.
The ramp itself is easily accessible for trailer boats, and there are wide open areas available for parking cars and trailers. Tony and the team at Bait n’ Tackle are also on hand to help with general support around the ramp, including assistance, basic maintenance, and keeping an eye on parked vehicles and trailers.
While crocodile sightings in the area are rare, it’s still wise for visitors to remain aware and follow basic crocodile safety precautions when spending time near the water.
