Hawke Street Boat Ramp, Kincumber

Hawke St, Kincumber, NSW 2251
Hawke Street Boat Ramp, Kincumber 0/50
hawke street boat ramp

Situated beside the KMJ Sewage Treatment Plant, the Hawke Street Boat Ramp provides convenient access to Kincumber Creek, which flows into the larger Kincumber Broadwater and connects to Brisbane Water. The facility features a dual-lane concrete ramp, making it a popular launching point for anglers, recreational boaters, and those exploring the Central Coast waterways.

The ramp offers all-tide access for most vessels, although water levels can become shallow in some areas depending on the conditions. The concrete ramp is in fair condition and generally provides a smooth launching experience throughout the year.

A wide parking area is available for vehicles and boat trailers, but it can fill up quickly during busy periods due to the ramp's popularity. It's also worth noting that overnight parking is not permitted, as the access gates are locked overnight, and the site is not suitable for vehicles longer than 7 metres.

The surrounding area includes a pleasant walking track, making it an enjoyable spot even if you're not heading out on the water. While the facility doesn't offer on-site amenities such as toilets or picnic areas, it remains a practical and reliable access point for those looking to explore Kincumber Creek, Kincumber Broadwater, and Brisbane Water.
