Jamieson Park Boat Ramp, Narrabeen

Nestled along the southern foreshore of Narrabeen Lagoon, Jamieson Park is a spacious waterfront reserve that offers the perfect setting for boating, outdoor recreation, and family days out.

Easily accessed via The Esplanade in Narrabeen, the park features a single-lane concrete boat ramp that launches into South Creek, providing convenient access for small boats, kayaks, canoes, and anglers looking to explore the lagoon. The ramp is open 24 hours a day, although water levels can be shallow at certain times.

Surrounded by natural bushland, Jamieson Park offers plenty of open green space for picnics, barbecues, and simply relaxing by the water. It also forms part of the popular Narrabeen Lagoon Multi-Use Trail, making it a great destination for walking, jogging, cycling, and other outdoor activities.

The park is well equipped with practical amenities, including more than 50 parking spaces, public toilets, water taps, BBQ stations, benches, and picnic tables. Parking is available on-site for a fee of $8 per hour. While convenient, visitors should be aware that parking can fill up quickly during busy periods and is considered relatively expensive by some.

The calm lagoon waters are particularly popular with families and are ideal for paddleboarding, kayaking, and canoeing, with equipment rentals often available during the warmer months. The waterfront provides a safe and scenic environment for children to enjoy, while nature lovers can often spot local wildlife, including swans and bush turkeys, throughout the reserve.

Dogs are welcome provided they remain on a leash, making the park a popular destination for pet owners as well. Combining boating access, picturesque scenery, and a wide range of recreational facilities, Jamieson Park is an excellent place to spend a relaxing day outdoors while helping preserve the beauty of this well-loved natural reserve.
