The Logan Inlet Boat Ramp, located on the shores of Lake Wivenhoe, offers a single-lane concrete ramp suitable for launching kayaks, tinnies, and trailerable boats. A variety of water activities are permitted here, including sailing, canoeing, kayaking, rowing, stand-up paddling, electric boating (with restricted powered access), and fishing.
Next to the ramp, you'll find a fish cleaning table for your convenience. Parking is plentiful, with ample space for vehicles towing trailers.
The area is well equipped with clean toilets and shower facilities, numerous shaded picnic tables, and covered BBQ stations that are regularly maintained by the council.
For swimmers, a designated, roped-off area is available, and you'll also find plenty of rubbish bins and shady trees throughout the site.
This location is an ideal spot for a day picnic, birthday party, or even a camping trip, with options for both standard camping and glamping.
Despite its remote feel, the area is well-equipped with council-cleaned BBQ facilities, covered seating areas with benches, and a kids' playground. You might even catch a glimpse of kangaroos enjoying the scenery, all while savouring great views and a pleasant breeze.
Lake Wivenhoe, South East Queensland’s largest water reservoir, supplies water to Brisbane and Ipswich and is a popular destination for both boating and camping. Thanks to the lake’s vast size, it’s easy to find your quiet corner, especially on weekdays. The shoreline is mostly surrounded by private farmland and forested areas, adding to the sense of seclusion and natural beauty.
