Narooma Boat Ramp, North Narooma

Located on Centenary Drive in Narooma, at the southern end of the Eurobodalla region, the Narooma Boat Ramp is one of the area’s most popular and well-equipped launching spots. The facility features a two-lane concrete ramp with a central pontoon and a small jetty on the right-hand side, providing convenient access to the beautiful Wagonga Inlet. Positioned beside the scenic boardwalk, the ramp is also close to the smaller Mill Bay Boat Ramp nearby.

The ramp provides easy access to the water and sits within a sheltered part of the bay, although the incline can feel a little steep for longer trailers.

The large parking area is a major advantage, offering more than 51 car and trailer spaces, along with additional parking for vehicles only.

Beyond boating, the location is a fantastic place to spend the day. There’s nearby beach access, beautifully maintained parklands, sheltered picnic areas, a playground for the kids, and clean public toilets. Anglers are well catered for too, with fish cleaning tables and washdown facilities available on-site.

The area is also known for its local wildlife, with dolphins, stingrays, seals, pelicans, and seabirds regularly spotted around the inlet. One of the highlights for many visitors is watching the resident seals gather near the fish cleaning tables, often waiting for leftover scraps alongside the ever-hopeful pelicans and seagulls. Despite being wild animals, the seals are very accustomed to people, making for a memorable experience.
