Port Geographe Marina is located about 7 kilometres north of Busselton and forms part of a residential canal development. The marina offers a wide range of facilities, including multiple moorings—both in the main harbour and throughout the canals—as well as a spacious six-lane concrete boat ramp, marina berths, a chandlery, and 24-hour fuel, lift, and repair services.
The boat ramp is well-designed and safe to use with pontoons (for docking and retrieval purposes), though boaters should be mindful of the 5-knot "no wake" zone that extends through much of the marina. The area is calm and well-suited for both launching and retrieving vessels.
Parking is generous, with a large car park offering plenty of space for cars and trailers. While the ramp and facilities (including toilets) are overall quite good, there’s currently no washdown area for boats, and some users have noted that the jetties can be a little rough when tying up.
Fishing is popular around the ramp area itself, with species like skippy frequently spotted; and some of them are a decent size. It’s a good place to start your day on the water or even cast a line nearby.
Within the marina precinct, you’ll also find The Deck Busselton, a local restaurant and pub offering pleasant views, quality meals, and friendly service. There are also sheltered beaches nearby, ideal for families with young children.
Overall, Port Geographe Marina is a well-equipped and convenient launching point for recreational boaters, offering solid infrastructure both day and night.
