Scarborough Public Boat Ramp

Scarborough Boat Ramp on the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula is a go-to spot for anyone keen to hit the water around Moreton Bay. It’s got a dual-lane concrete ramp with a central pontoon and a nice gentle slope that makes launching a breeze; perfect for heading out to the islands, checking out the Tangalooma wrecks, or finding a solid fishing spot. Just a heads-up: if you’ve got a larger boat, low tide might make things a bit trickier because of that shallow angle.

The carpark’s pretty spacious and fits both cars and trailers, but it fills up fast when the weather’s great. Resist the urge to park on the grass or nature strips though; tickets are definitely a thing.

The spot has convenient amenities like a fish cleaning station, wash-down bays, and toilets, making it super easy to spend the whole day out there. There’s even a holiday park right next door if you’re sticking around overnight.

Fishing-wise, this place is a dream; you can find big flatheads and heaps of pike are out there in the water waiting. And if you're bringing the family or just want to chill, there’s a skate park, a playground for the kids, BBQ areas, and public toilets right by the ramp.

Whether you’re out chasing fish or just cruising the coast, Scarborough Boat Ramp is a top-notch launchpad into Queensland’s awesome marine backyard.
