TE Peters Boat Ramp, tucked along TE Peters Drive and just across from the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, offers a wide single ramp that drops straight into the meandering Nerang River. It’s a solid spot for launching your boat, though trailer parking can be limited, so plan ahead.
The ramp itself provides decent parking and plenty of space to prep your boat before hitting the water. On either side, small sandy beach areas offer extra convenience, while the surrounding park makes it a great spot to relax. Here you’ll find electric BBQs, public toilets, and a playground, making it ideal for families.
Launching or loading a jetski or boat is straightforward, with a small beach area conveniently located for parking your vessel. However, be prepared for occasional waits, as the ramp can get busy with other boaters. Also, if you’re towing a large boat, take care; traffic near the ramp can get congested.
The area itself is absolutely beautiful, with walking trails, sheltered picnic tables, BBQ stations, and more facilities to enjoy a day out with the family. It’s a great mix of boating convenience and riverside leisure.
