The Cradoc Boat Ramp, located just off Ferry Road near the Channel Highway in the rural riverside community of Cradoc in the Huon Valley, is a small single-lane concrete ramp with a wooden jetty alongside. It’s an all-tide ramp, and while conditions at the ramp are generally good, it’s wise to check the weather and river conditions before launching.
Set in a peaceful and tucked-away spot on the Huon River, the location offers easy access to the water, along with plenty of space for turning and parking, making it a convenient choice for a quiet day on the river.
There are no facilities on-site, so it’s best to come prepared with anything you might need. However, just nearby on the roadside, there’s a small juice stand offering locally made apple juice which is a nice local touch worth checking out.
