Melbourne, VIC — September 2026 — Victoria's premier boating
event is set to return to Docklands this October, with the 2026 Melbourne Boat
Show bringing four days of boats, fishing, marine technology, live
demonstrations and family entertainment to the Docklands waterfront from 15–18
October 2026.
Held at New Quay Promenade and Harbour Esplanade, Docklands,
the four-day event will showcase the latest in boating and marine recreation,
with visitors to explore various styles and models of fishing boats, cruising
vessels, ski and wake boats, personal watercraft, pontoon boats, sailing boats
and more. The official event schedule runs from
15 October Thursday: 12pm to 6pm 10am
16 October Friday 10am to 6pm
17 October Saturday 10am to 6pm
18 October Sunday 10am to 4pm
The Melbourne Boat Show offers an opportunity for boating
enthusiasts, anglers, families and newcomers to explore the latest products,
technology and equipment in one location.
Leading Marine Brands and Dealers on Display
A number of leading marine brands and Telwater dealers will
be joining the event, giving visitors the chance to compare boats, engines and
marine solutions while speaking directly with industry professionals.
Melita Marine
will be exhibiting its range of Stacer and Petecraft boats, Lagomar inflatables
and Mercury engines, while Richardson
Marine will showcase its selection of fully equipped Stabicraft boats, with
show specials available across the event.
Visitors can also meet the team from Triple H Marine and explore its
boat sales, custom marine fit-outs, servicing and repair expertise. Inverloch Marine will bring its
range of Quintrex and Extreme boats, Yamaha outboards and marine services,
while Geelong Boating Centre
will display Quintrex, Kingfisher, White Pointer and Stabicraft boats powered
by Yamaha. Diptech Performance
will also be part of the exhibitors, showcasing their range of Yamaha Wave
Runners.
With numerous marine and fishing brands participating in the
boat show, such as Suzuki Marine, Evolution boats, Quintrex
and Stacer, to mention a few, visitors
will have plenty of opportunities to explore different boat styles and
configurations for fishing, family recreation and coastal adventures. Plus they
get to enjoy scanning a wide variety of fishing gear, boat accessories, and
marine electronics that can benefit them in their boating activities.
Entertainment, Demonstrations and Family Activities
The Melbourne Boat Show extends well beyond boat displays,
with a packed program designed to keep visitors entertained throughout the
weekend.
Suzuki Marine Main Stage
The Suzuki Marine Main Stage will host presentations and
live activities, including Suzuki Marine Seafood Cooking with Paul Burt. The
well-known fishing and outdoor personality will demonstrate seafood preparation
and share recipes and cooking tips inspired by the catch of the day.
Supertank
Fishing enthusiasts can also visit the 14,000-litre Berkley
SuperTank, where live demonstrations offer an underwater view of how different
lures and fishing techniques work. The experience gives spectators a unique
perspective on what happens beneath the water’s surface.
Suzuki Clean Ocean Project Kids Zone
Families can head to the Suzuki Clean Ocean Project Kids
Zone on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October for face painting, balloon animals
and marine-themed activities with Seaweed Sally.
Boating Heritage
Visitors can also step back in time in the Tall Ships &
Wooden Boats precinct, with vessels including the Alma Doepel, Enterprize
and Steam Tug Wattle on display. Guests can also book a one-hour sail
aboard Enterprize for a unique opportunity to experience Melbourne's
waterways under sail.
Safety Training Programs
The Australian Volunteer Coast Guard – St Kilda will be on
site throughout the event, giving visitors the chance to board its rescue
vessel and learn more about marine safety, search and rescue operations and
boating education.
Safe Transport Victoria will also provide practical guidance
for boaters, covering safety equipment, lifejackets, marine radios, flares,
boating with children and pre-departure checks.
The Making Waves Foundation will have volunteers available
throughout the show, with visitors invited aboard Ninety Seven on
Saturday and Sunday to learn more about its inclusive sailing programs.

website. Kids below the age of 12 do not require a ticket although an adult
should accompany them while in the boat show.
