The Lake Berringer Boat Ramp provides straightforward access to the calm waters of Berringer Lake, a peaceful coastal lake surrounded by bushland. The ramp itself is a single-lane, unsealed launch suitable for small to medium-sized boats, with adjacent parking available for visitors. Managed by Shoalhaven City Council, the facility is open daily from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The launch area is straightforward to use. Reversing a trailer is also easy and convenient. The ramp is also an excellent launching spot for kayaks. As always, it’s worth checking the tides and charts before heading out.
There’s plenty of parking for boats and trailers, and even if you’re not heading out on the water, it’s a great spot to unwind. Many visitors bring a few chairs, fire up a portable barbecue, and enjoy a quiet sunset drink overlooking the lake.
While the ramp doesn’t have fish cleaning tables or lighting, the quiet surroundings make it a pleasant spot for anglers. Local waters are known to hold species such as dusky flathead, surf bream, and southern black bream, offering plenty of opportunities for a relaxed day of fishing.
Overall, it’s a super peaceful location with ample parking and an easy launch point; ideal for anyone looking to spend a calm day on the water.
