The Terrigal Haven Boat Ramp, located within The Haven Reserve just off Scenic Highway in Terrigal, NSW, is a popular access point to the open ocean. This double-lane concrete ramp is ideal for launching small to medium boats, jet skis, and kayaks. While there’s no jetty or pontoon, the ramp is fitted with bumpers to help protect your vessel during launch and retrieval.
Because the area is directly open to ocean swells and lacks tie-up facilities, launching here can be challenging, especially in rough conditions. It’s best suited for experienced boaters since they are confident enough to drive the boat onto the trailer quickly if a surge rolls in. New visitors are often encouraged to watch the locals first before attempting to launch themselves. In calm weather, however, it’s a great and well-maintained ramp that regulars find easy to use.
