This single-lane concrete ramp is located right next to Toowoon Bay Beach; a well-known family-friendly destination. Due to the ramp’s surface and beach entry, a 4WD is recommended for safe launching.
The beach itself is a standout feature of the area, with its calm, sheltered waters ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, and snorkelling. There are two main parking areas: one at the top near the park, with toilets and a nearby fish and chips shop, and a smaller, more limited lot right next to the beach itself. An outdoor shower is also available for rinsing off after a swim. Lifeguards patrol the beach daily from the October long weekend through to the end of the April school holidays.
